About
I am currently a MSCA Postdoctoral researcher at Centro de Estudios Avanzados de Blanes in Spain. I am originally from Adelaide, Australia which is where I completed my PhD. My expertise lie in environmental DNA approaches to monitor marine biodiversity through space and time. I apply eDNA methods, alongside traditional biodiversity surveys, to monitor seagrass ecosystems in the present day, and combine geochemical analyses of marine sediments with eDNA for paleo-ecological assessments. I am interested in developing methodologies to better value seagrass ecosystems and improving the ways we manage and conserve these important habitats for the future.
